Dear Colleagues,
Dear Sir/Madame,
I cordially welcome on the 4th International Congress of
the Polish Resuscitation Council under the banner of: “How
to increase the survival after the cardiac arrest?”.
Broadly spread cardiopulmonary resuscitation Guidelines
2005 is a knowledge on which links of the chain of
survival are built. Education that is effective teaching
is the second link. In this respect the 4th
International Congress of the Polish Resuscitation
Council is unique, as directly before the Congress the
European Trauma Course (ETC) will take place. I
encourage acquainting with this model modern course,
based on the high-quality European training standards.
The third link of the chain of survival is
implementation of knowledge and skills into every-day
reality of the healthcare system. This link is the most
difficult and important phase in mortality decrease, as
it requires broad, interdisciplinary and social
cooperation. I hope that the scientific program of the
Congress will bring additional knowledge helpful in
improvement of the links of survival and mortality
decrease in situations of human life threat.
I wish a fruitful
debate and pleasant staying in Krakow. I simultaneously
invite all participants on the jubilee 5th
International Congress of the Polish Resuscitation
Council on the occasion of 10 years of the Polish
Resuscitation Council, which takes place in Kraków on
23rd-25th June, 2011.
I sincerely invite,
Prof. Janusz Andres PhD
MD
Head of the Polish Resuscitation Council
